Shukri Jarmoukli
I'm a doctor. But I don't work the way you may be used to.

I don't see a person as the sum of individual symptoms, but as a living system in which everything is interconnected: body, mind, biochemistry, lifestyle. I'm not only interested in what isn't working, but in why it has fallen out of balance. Because that is exactly where lasting change can begin — by working on the root causes, not just on individual symptoms.
What drives me is not only knowledge — but my own experience.
Driven by my own story of suffering and that of the people closest to me, I tried countless methods. Many things worked, and many simply didn't. What did work was not part of my medical school training. I couldn't understand why these things were never even mentioned. That's why I pursued extensive further training, did a lot of research and uncovered valuable knowledge that has no place in the classical curriculum — yet has changed my life and the lives of many others.
The biggest turning point for me was the cold.
Ice bathing didn't just change my body, it changed my mind. My resilience. My ability to handle stress. I freed myself from my depressive symptoms.
At the same time, I realised how little this is part of classical medical training either — even though there are over 1,300 studies on it, and yet zero teaching content.
My engagement with alternative approaches did not start from any esoteric motivation, but from the wish to translate scientific findings into a practice that actually works. It is often assumed that everything outside of conventional medicine is by definition unscientific. That view falls short. Many approaches are scientifically well-founded, but so far have no firm place in established treatment concepts.
Through my continuous further training and my practical work with patients across different medical disciplines — including Lifestyle Medicine, Functional Medicine, Anthroposophic Medicine, Orthomolecular Medicine, genetics and epigenetics, toxicology and environmental medicine, as well as psychotherapeutic and biodynamic methods including ketamine-assisted therapy — I have developed an integrative treatment system.
This system combines the respective strengths of each approach into a clearly structured overall concept. The goal is not to apply methods in isolation side by side, but to align them so that meaningful synergies arise and the individual measures reinforce each other instead of contradicting one another.
Such a broadly based and at the same time systematically integrated approach is rare. It makes it possible to view patients not one-dimensionally, but in their full complexity — and to offer truly individualised, holistic therapies.
Not in order to do as much as possible, but in order to understand the connections that are often overlooked. Not as an arbitrary combination of different forms of medicine, but as a structured concept in which every approach has its clear place — with the aim of enabling a genuinely holistic perspective and an integrated treatment. My work begins where standard solutions end.
Along the way, I accompany you as a mentor. Because lifestyle optimisation is often the foundation of any lasting improvement, and this is exactly where many people fail — not because of a lack of knowledge, but because of difficulties with implementation. The best therapy cannot achieve anything if it isn't actually lived. That's why more than a treatment plan is needed: it takes guidance, fine-tuning and genuine support throughout the entire process of change.
I have freed myself from health problems and have helped many other people do the same. Not through a single miracle cure, but through consistent change with a clear plan and structure. It is exactly this experience that I now pass on.
My goal is not only that you feel better. My goal is that you understand why — and that you get to know your body so well that you become independent in the long term. I know I've done my work well when my patients eventually need me less.
